Terms.

Effective 8 October 2026

The artist and these terms

This website is operated by Ruskin Felix Barar, under the art presentation Ruskin Felix Art, at F-2002, Lodha Bel Air, Jogeshwari West, Andheri, Mumbai - 400102, Maharashtra, India. Contact rfb@ruskinfelix.com for assistance. These terms cover website use and the basis on which a painting purchase may be agreed. Read them alongside our Privacy, Shipping and Returns & refunds policies.

Original works and availability

Each listed original is a single physical painting by the artist. Adding it to a cart, creating an account or sending an enquiry does not reserve it. The studio confirms availability before accepting a purchase. If a requested work is unavailable, we will tell you rather than substitute another without your agreement.

The current collection is acrylic on canvas, 8 × 10 inches (approximately 20.3 × 25.4 cm), created in 2026. Canvas texture, raised paint and irregular painted edges are characteristics of the originals. The individual description and details confirmed before purchase identify what you will receive.

Photographs, colour and framing

Artwork photographs are aligned and cropped from the original photographs for clarity. Screen calibration, brightness and room lighting can affect colour and texture. Ask for available additional photographs before buying. These display differences do not excuse a material difference between the agreed work and the painting delivered.

The decorative frame and mat on the website are a display presentation. A physical frame is included only if the written purchase details expressly say so. Dimensions refer to the painting unless stated otherwise. Confirm physical framing, mounting and any added cost before paying.

Price and the final total

The current artwork price is US$250 per work, in United States dollars. This is not a confirmed delivered total. Applicable taxes, packaging, shipping, agreed framing and any other charge, together with the currency actually collected, will be disclosed before purchase acceptance. No paid option is added without your agreement.

Listing errors or future price changes will be explained before accepting an affected request. A confirmed purchase keeps the price and terms agreed for that purchase; we do not apply a later price change retrospectively.

Cart, order requests and payment

A cart assembles works you wish to collect. An order request lets the studio check availability and delivery requirements. Neither is a payment, an accepted purchase contract or a guaranteed reservation. Online payment collection is currently disabled.

A purchase is formed only after the studio confirms availability, the full price, delivery arrangements and other material conditions in writing, you accept those details, and the studio confirms acceptance. Payment instructions must come through that confirmed process. Never send card details, CVVs, banking passwords or UPI PINs by email or in a form.

Collector accounts

Registration and purchase requests are for adults aged 18 or over. Supply accurate details, protect your credentials and use the website lawfully. Keep delivery information current before dispatch. Contact us about suspected unauthorised use. We may restrict a compromised or abusive account while investigating; this does not remove rights relating to an existing purchase.

Delivery, cancellation and refunds

Destinations, dispatch dates, delivery schedules and carrier arrangements are confirmed for an actual purchase. See the Shipping policy. To change or cancel a confirmed purchase, contact us promptly; we will explain the options for its current stage before agreeing any charge.

After successful delivery of the correct, undamaged work as agreed, we do not offer a change-of-mind return, exchange or refund. Proven transit damage follows our Returns & refunds policy, including the standard 45-calendar-day timing after the damaged work is returned, received and retained by the studio. Mandatory remedies and any legally required earlier refund take priority.

Physical ownership and intellectual property

A purchase transfers the agreed physical painting. Copyright, reproduction, image licensing and merchandise rights remain with the artist unless a separate written agreement transfers or licenses them. You may display and enjoy the original and exercise any rights permitted by applicable law.

Website photographs, artwork images, texts and branding are protected intellectual property. Obtain permission before commercial reproduction or exploitation, except where the law permits your use. Contact the studio about publication, licensing or collaborations.

Care and responsibility

Handle the canvas carefully. Avoid moisture, prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat, pressure on raised paint and abrasive cleaning. Seek advice before cleaning, restoring or reframing. These care notes do not exclude responsibility for a defect present at delivery. No resale value, investment return or appreciation is promised.

Do not interfere with the website, access another collector's account or submit fraudulent information. Technical interruptions can occur; report errors affecting a request or account. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes a remedy for a defective, misdescribed, missing or otherwise non-conforming work.

Questions, complaints and applicable rights

The owner and consumer grievance contact is Ruskin Felix Barar, at the address above and rfb@ruskinfelix.com. Include the work or request reference and your concern. We will acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and seek to resolve them within one month of receipt, with an update where investigation is needed.

The laws applicable to your purchase govern disputes. The studio is based in Mumbai, India, but you retain any right to approach a competent consumer authority or court. Mandatory consumer protections, including a statutory cancellation right that applies to your purchase, prevail over conflicting terms. Changes to these terms apply prospectively.
